The cottage is beautiful - it's a heritage listed building that has been thoughtfully renovated. It's much larger than I expected - 2 double bedrooms with heaps of space around the beds; an upstairs toilet AND two bathrooms downstairs ; as well as a large kitchen, laundry area, lounge room and dining room. In addition, there was a ready-to-go hot tub in the back yard. What more could you want??? There was space to park the car in front of the cottage and of the road. The village was extremely quiet during the night too. All in all, this is a fabulous place for a holiday for two couples or a family.

The property is in a great location alongthe banks of the river. A short walk into town and there is plenty of history to see along the way. All amenities are modern and easy to use. The property has been nicely modernised and is comfortable and fresh. It's closeness to the Cotswolds and other historic places is a bonus.

We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade upon checking in. The room was clean, staff was friendly and approachable. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel was wonderful too. What we liked most was the Tudor decor all over the hotel. That kept us exploring every stairwell and corner we could get into.

A superb property in a great location, especially if you are there for the rugby, which is across the road. The city centre is a short walk away. I loved the decor, which was modern and well thought out.
