The folk that run the hotel couldn’t have been nicer and really made me feel welcome. It’s an unpretentious place with locals drinking in the pub downstairs and maybe watching the football. Upstairs my room was very pleasant and quiet. Started the day with a well cooked fry up and went exploring the beautiful city of Durham. I recommend it strongly if you want a great value stay.
