The quite area and the flexibility(Late arrival) and friendlieness of the staff. The Pod-room, and the shower- and bathroom is also very comfortable, clean and very nice, inclusive veranda. The breakfast was wonderful, plentiful, and lots of choice in a lovely sunroom. The hotel is set in a grand, picturesque location surrounded by fields within which is a lake, Beds are very comfortable with French doors opening onto a patio, looking across the fields. An 14th century church is in walking distance, and pleasant walks in the nearby wooded areas. Lovely part of the world, real England.
