Tamara has nailed it, my other half said it's like your best mate has gone away for the weekend and let you stay at her place. Every room is decked out beautifully, we wanted for nothing and we were greeted with a big smile. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in that neck of the woods again.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The lodge was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Quirky property, fun to explore with excellent facilities and a lovely charm of Old England. Great hot tub & cinema room. Excellent location, close to shops, cafes and restaurants in Saffron Walden. Each evening there was space to park our cars outside.
