Superb hotel, a few minutes walk from the centre of Colchester, maintaining a standard that would match any, anywhere. Clean, comfortable with a fully equipped bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with table service rather than buffet. Free secure parking in the grounds of the hotel. The hotel is excellent value for money.

a converted barn with loads of character in a quiet rural environment host supplied a great little manual covering all the appliances the WiFi was fast and hassle free the kitchen had everything you need for a short stay the host had even left a welcome package for our pooch!

Everything very clean we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Location was perfect very pleasant river walk into town and local attractions free parking an added bonus.
