We had such a lovely time at this beautifully decorated cottage, exactly as shown in the pictures. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home! Donald, is an incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive host. He was always available for any questions or issues, and even made sure to pump up the radiators manually when the temperatures here in Scotland suddenly dropped, which we really appreciated. The cottage is perfectly located, close to the stunning Butt of Lewis and several breathtaking beaches. It was such a nice and cosy feeling to come home after a long day outside. We felt so comfortable during our entire stay, and the serene surroundings made it all the more special. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!

The property is very organised, tidy and beautiful. Every room is a delight to use especially the very spacious stairs and hallway It had everything we needed and the sauna was a major bonus as was the EV charger . Nancy the host was also so welcoming and friendly giving us a quick tour on arrival In addition to this the welcome pack was amazing with some of the best items I have seen before with local produce and items to use A lovely location that I would definitely recommend to others and we will definitely be back when we revisit the outer Hebrides

Staff was fantastic. Meals were delicious. They did our laundry for us and followed all our very specific requests. :-) We were in Scotland for 17 days and this was our favorite location out of 8 locations. We wished we were staying there longer.

The house was beautiful and clean and a perfect size for our family of 5. It’s in a perfect location, a short drive from Stornaway so close to shops if needed. Surrounding area is beautiful and so peaceful and just a short walk down to the beach.

Probably the best self-catering accommodation that we have booked through Booking.Com. The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable and very well equipped. We absolutely loved it. Whilst not centrally located, Lewis & Harris are small enough for the cottage to be used as a base for exploring both parts of the island. Catherine and Ian were great and generous hosts and made us most welcome. Fisherman's Cottage is an absolute gem.
