The mattress was comfortable, the decor was lovely and the facilities were thoughtful and clean. You are not confined to the shepard hut. There is a communal bar and facilities area with comfortable sofas and a lovely decking. The hosts are lovely and encourage you to enjoy the grounds including thier forest. Spacious room and had what was described on the description and facilities of the room. In a nice enclosed area so we wasn’t inside the pub itself but we could definitely tell it is a popular pub and I could see why. Cooking over a camp fire was great fun make sure you take your lanterns and torches etc for the night! All in all we loved every minute.
