I spent two nights at the Crown Inn in Stornoway with my brother and his family and we had a very pleasant stay! The rooms were comfortable and very cleaned, very generous breakfast, and great position, in the town centre and just five minutes walk from the ferry terminal. If you've got a car there is a free parking space just in front of the building. The first night we decided to have dinner at the Crown Inn restaurant and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to book a table for dinner the following night as the food was great and there was also a beautiful view on the seaside and on the castle. The staff has been kind and helpful! If I ever have the chance to visit the isle again, and I really hope I will, I will have no doubts and book at the Crown Inn again. The Isle of Harris and Lewis is astonishing, really miss it!

This was the most beautifully decorated pod we have stayed in. The view on Loch Cromore is simply stunning. Maybe not for everyone, but the isolation of the place makes it special, and was just what we needed. The WiFi connection was excellent, and we enjoyed the DVD collection, too! We followed the bicycle route suggested by the owner (Gravir - Calbost - Marbhig), one of the most stunning routes we've cycled! Anne (the host) was very warm & welcoming. The fenced garden across the road (and along the water) was perfect to let the dogs off leash and let them enjoy their "dog welcome pack" prepared by Anne (ball, treats...). We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage on Lewis Island! The communication with the host was great. The view from the cottage was absolutely stunning. We loved watching the sheep and grey geese roam the fields. We were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy a barbecue outside, which made the experience even more special. The lovely welcome basket was a thoughtful touch and made us feel instantly at home. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful and memorable getaway.
