I was very happy at Blue Room Hostel, I stayed one night in the 10 bed women's dorm. The bed was very comfy, everything was clean, had a lovely hot shower in the en-suite bathroom. There's a lovely and spacious common area with sofas, tables, chairs, books, a microwave, a fridge... On a rainy day this would be great. Also a TV room that looked very comfy. You can also sit outside the front of the house and enjoy the morning sun. :)) The owner, Lee, is super nice and involved, and takes care of things himself, which gives the hostel a friendly and personal atmosphere. Big difference to chain hostels. There's even a breakfast in the morning! Also loved the location, it's in a quiet neighbourhood, so you can sleep well, but in five minutes walk you're at the main street, the bus station, the train station and the beach. Couldn't be better.

Room was beautiful. Artwork fabulous in the rooms and bed super comfy. Staff very friendly. Pool fabulous. Loved the individual large changing rooms. We were the first customers in the bar too. Breakfast not overpriced and excellent. Short walk to the beach too.

The most amazing view and hotel location. The room was perfect. Loved the huge bed and bathroom. The room upgrade was amazing. Thanks for fulfilling all our special requests and wishes! We liked the private parking. The sunset and sunrise views were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly. Thanks for all wonderful recommendations on what to see around our points of interest. Paul is really a great host. he's super friendly and outgoing. the room was very clean, quiet and i slept very well. the breakfast was amazing - you can choose out of various options and everything is prepared freshly. plus there is a buffet where you can get fruits, cereals and stuff like that. really felt like home. the location is supernice, in the city center with various shops and restaurants arounds, but still quiet. would definitly go there again!

    Faultless, spotless, sumptuous! FABULOUS! The room was very well appointed, huge and spacious, and the bed was ultra-comfortable. The food was delicious (homemade steak and kidney pie) and the breakfast hot and also delicious. Breakfast was included in the room, which considering the size of the portions is amazing. The staff could not have been more pleasant and welcoming. We shall most certainly visit this property again.

    Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, as a solo traveler on this occasion I felt very comfortable and welcome. I was visiting for a funeral, and the wake was at the Plume, so made sense to stay there. A lovely Country Inn feel, but at the same time the rooms were modern; simple but a sense of luxury! A thanks to the staff - I was departing very early for a flight so unfortunately missed breakfast and regular hours check out, and an opportunity to say thanks.
