Thank you to Albert and Aileen for a wonderful stay at Grainbank Mews. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean, with a delicious breakfast prepared for us each morning. Great location, just outside Kirkwall and a couple minutes' drive to all the shops and restaurants. We were really curious about life on Orkney, and Albert was very kind and informative, even pointing us in the direction of the 'Orkney Dictionary' (which I bought!) This place is a treasure and we would love to stay again the next time we are in town.

Lovely place just up a short hill from downtown Kirkwall. Delicious breakfast and very friendly owners, fellow travelers. Recommend 100% !

A very nice and clean hotel with extraordinarily friendly staff, especially a woman who worked almost all day! Excellent food and a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, we really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back, thank you very much!

Clean and spacious home right in the centre of Kirkwall with everything one might need for a short break on the island. The host was friendly, helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here to others.

Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.
