I loved my short stay at the hotel Room was really nice, clean and comfy. Enjoyed my breakfast and special plaudits to the restaurant manager/hostess overseeing breakfast on the 6th( blonde lady Pam?) who was wonderful. ⭐

The host was very kind and very friendly. She greeted us with whisky when we arrived, and told us the story of Gordon House. She also gave us a good recommendation for dinner (as she doesn't provide it herself on weekdays anymore). The room was clean, and everything was as described. The building is old, so don't expect fancy modern interiors, but everything is clean and the owners constantly work on improving it. And I must mention that the full Scottish breakfast was very good.

Best breakfast we've had in Scotland. Made fresh between 8-9 AM. Cosy house with wood-burning fireplaces - perfect for the cold days. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. If we ever have the chance to visit Aviemore again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Room was really spacious for us (a family of 4) very comfortable with a lovely view. The staff were throughout our stay, especially the lovely lady at reception. Our daughter had been unwell at dinner and all the staff were so thoughtful & helpful with what was an awkward situation for us.

Bar meals good value. Couple of good snooker tables to use after dinner is great fun. Staff pleasent. To really enjoy the hotel you have to have the correct mindset, it's an old classic Victorian building with all the challenges of maintaining an old property. It's clean and maintained where necessary and part of the "Fawlty Tower" charm is to embrace the comically worn bits.

A lovely spacious property, really well equipped. We had a fantastic trip and were really comfortable. With small children it was perfect to be so close to the playground as well.
