It was a great old property with lots of character. The bed room was spacious with comfortable in room facilities. It had great water pressure for shower. The lounge had real fire place. The restaurant had great food. The charcuterie and he lamb was great. The wines were reasonably priced. The grounds were fabulous. The hotel is slightly remote but well worth going there to stay. If I ever return to the Isle of Skye, I will stay there again.

In 15 acres of private grounds, this hotel boasts spectacular views over Portree Bay to the Cuillin Mountain range. It has an award-winning restaurant and a range of whiskies on offer.

Location, comfort, cleanliness and helpful staff made for an excellent stay and vacation on Skye. The management and staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Very comfortable place to stay. The food was excellent and the hot toddys and the cozy fireplace made a great atmosphere in the evening.

A gorgeous house in a very quiet area. We knew it was going to be far from most ammenities and were a little concerned. But we picked up dinners and got to hangout in the wonderful dining room/lounge. The house is absolutley stunning, decorated with every detail thought out. OUr hostess was amazing- always there when you needed her. The breakfast was delightful and so fresh each day. We would stay here again - 100% recommend.
