Who wouldn't like to sleep at a castle? We had two perfect nights there and can definitely recommend it. Carol is a wonderful host, always helpful and attentive. The room - we had the Scott Suite - was immaculate, spacious and like a home from home. Fantastic breakfast - and the Port and Whisky were a nice touch, too. We'd love to come back.

Beautiful property with very friendly and accommodating hosts. Perfect location for exploring the Scottish Borders. We used the B & B as a base for the Kielder Observatory. The full Scottish breakfast set us up perfectly for the day.

We stayed at the Heatherlie Hotel for 2 nights and could have quite happily stayed longer, we were met by the host Sunny and he made sure we were well taken care of for our entire stay. The building is beautiful and has been kept very well. The rooms were very cosy and we were well catered for. Breakfast was perfect and exactly as expected. The location of the hotel is great, in a nice quiet spot but still close enough to the centre of the town and to bus stops too. Would definitely visit again.

We have now returned to Australia but stayed at the Auld Cross Keys Inn at the beginning of September as we commenced of our trip around Scotland. The Inn and the people and township of Denholm did not disappoint just as was the case six years previously and we were determined on this visit to find that little town we liked so much then. Denhom is a lovely town and the Inn is representative of that - the staff and facilities were excellent and we were made most welcome and were well looked after. I would recommend a visit to all, it will not let you down. Thank you to all at the Auld Cross Keys Inn.
