The owners were so lovely. Nothing was too much for them when my daughter felt under the weather. Its family run and even their kids were so friendly too. Teaching my son to play pool. We had tea and breakfast the next morning. The food was delicious. Lovely portions and just a lovely atmosphere all round. The room was beautiful, had everything we needed and lovely, comfortable beds. The furnishings also added an extra touch. It was fabulous. We will 100% be returning.

Gary and Jennifer are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Backside Lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Homemade scones, biscuits, sweets, bottle water, bottle of beer and a bottle of wine waiting in the lodge for use. A lovely touch to a perfect stay. The bed was so comfortable and the lide was extremely clean. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic room, with a great view was in a perfect location for beach travel and visiting friends. Best did all we took our dog. Highly recommend for a long weekend.
