Wonderful corner room , spacious and very comfortable and quiet. Luxurious towels and bed. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast also. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely blown away, photos don’t do it justice. Facilities were great, the cabin we stayed in was awesome and just the right size. Area is beautifully designed and done very well, you can see how much love goes into the place. Ann and Dougie were very welcoming & kind, giving us a tour of the place and lots of information for our stay. Games room was perfect, lots of different games to play and a great place for kids and adults.

I loved staying at the captains retreat with my family it was a home away from home very calming and cosy. Lynsey made sure our stay was wonderful with all her loving little extras. We would love to rebook another stay next year

    For the price, we couldn't fault the hotel. We chose it as we were attending a funeral and wanted to stay close. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and the restaurant food was exceptional for the price. Overall, it was really good value.
