Beautiful hotel with the unexpected bonus of a swimming pool, sunny outdoors courtyard with sun loungers and shade, and a spa. The hotel was gloriously renovated and decorated, very comfortable rooms with all modern amenities. Once you mastered the Escher style stairways and corridors it was great fun. There is a lift. A nice outdoor courtyard off the restaurant for dining which we used on a couple of occasions as the summer weather was ideal. Located at the top of the hill in Richmond, right near the entrance to Richmond Park. A walk downhill takes you to the Thames path or the town. There is a group of neighbourhood shops including a cafe bakery and Sainsbury’s local approx 5-8 minutes walk away. The Lass O’Richmond Hill hotel is opposite, a very cool place to drink or dine, also with a courtyard area.
