It was a beautifully appointed home and the grounds were spectacular, although I would not have liked to try to find it after dark. Breakfast was delicious. Larry made us feel very welcome.

We had the most relaxing stay at Riverside Cottage as a family, and we couldn’t recommend it more.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen and cozy living area.
The setting is so peaceful, nestled beside the river and surrounded by nature.
In the evening, we dined at Basil Sheils, just down the road, and the food was outstanding—homemade, hearty, and family-friendly with a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast there the next morning was just as impressive.
It’s a brilliant place for families looking to unwind and reconnect. Whether you want to explore or just relax by the river, Riverside Cottage offers the best of both. We’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again ourselves!

Could not possibly find a single thing to complain about. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Personally i was very sad to have to come back home to costa Blanca. Henk, Rowland , Peter and Orla are now my new best friends. Walking into the hotel was like walking into your best friends house. The welcome was amazing and they even had a packed lunch ready for me at 4 am for the flight back. Absolutely fantastic and friendly staff. Smiling hapoy people makes for smiley happy guests. Armagh City Hotel have got it spot on. I cant wait to go back.
