I gave this property 5 stars because there was nothing to dislike. Very nicely decorated and well equipped little house right in the center of Kirkwall that felt like a home from home. I had my choice of the two bedrooms and opted for the back bedroom which was wonderfully quiet with a comfy bed and choice of pillows. The welcome basket was very generous and the price for two nights was very reasonable. It is surrounded by shops and coffee places. I fully recommend this to anyone as a great option to a hotel.

The house is well eqquiped, very clean and decorated with so much love. There are so many beautiful details and the house is so cosy. The beds are very comfortable. Frances welcomed us and explained everything we need to know about the house. She is such a lovely and kind person! We enjoyed our stay so much and definitely recommend Binnaquoy. It was the best stay we had in Scotland.

This place is so special. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and stocked with local goodies and everything we needed. Orkney island, west mainland, amazing in many ways. We loved it here!

This is by far, the best place we have stayed in. Location was great. Malcolm and Teresa are fantastic hosts. Breakfast was fantastic, just needed to let Teresa know what you wanted from her menu. Beautiful accom so close to the water, big rooms and comfy beds. Highly recommend.
