Shave Farm is a must visit if you are in the area! The property is beautiful (I’m sure it’s even more gorgeous in the spring/summer) with great accommodations and extremely friendly owners. Comfortable beds, clean rooms/facilities, and a variety of stays for a single traveler or an entire family. I would suggest contacting the owners in advance and asking them which room option is best for you. BONUS: The breakfast is PERFECT every morning! Be sure to order during your stay. I will definitely we returning, and I will suggest this property to anyone in the area.

Presented to a very high standard, quiet and peaceful location. Excellent hosts who were kind and helpful, genuinely nice people. Homemade raspberry jam! Private spot looking out on an established garden setting. We found this a great spot to use as a base incorporating many beautiful nearby villages, lots of walks, quality pubs that do great meals and also within about 25 minutes of the sea. All up we really loved this place and will be definitely coming back.

Welcoming and so comfortable, the shepherds’ huts were a perfect end to a long weekend away. Great hot tub too! We wanted peace and relaxation and rhat is exactly what we got.

Lovely cottage everything we needed. Great wood burner kept us warm. Very comfortable. Easy reach to axminster and surrounding area. Garden was great although we arrived to snow some lively wild birds and even got to see a fox.
