The most cozy and comfy cabin I ever stayed. My husband and I had a wonderful warm night here. The facilities in the cabin was awesome and well equipped. The owner helped to keep us warm by teaching us to use the heater. The service was amazing, even we had the language barrier but it was not a problem at all. The location is on the top of the hill, you will see the city view.

What an exprerience ! This guesthouse sure knows how to welcome people. Our stay was a really pleasing, the whole family was very kind and we felt like we were part of the family. I think it is enough to express how much we liked it there ♥️ Highly recommended !

Everything was great, one of the nicest rooms I've been to, the host is forthcoming and available. The garden is also very pretty. We got some Khachapuri in the morning although breakfast is not supposed to be included according to booking. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is by far the best place we stayed on the Mestia-Ushguli trek and WELL worth the detour. Raúl is a host like no other and we loved the stories about the history of the home. The food is divine and made with love.

During our two-week trip to Georgia, our stay in Mestia at Davit's home became one of the most unforgettable highlights. We were completely charmed by the room with the glass ceiling that opened up to the sky, and although the house was a bit outside the main town of Mestia, we decided to stay there — and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. It made our Mestia experience feel like a dream. We stayed in that room for two nights and were absolutely happy there, whether the weather was clear or rainy. On rainy days, when hiking wasn't an option, we slept in and enjoyed the peaceful view from our bed. On clear nights, we were lucky enough to lie in bed and count countless stars until we fell asleep. The bed was comfortable, and a small heater kept us warm through the cold mountain nights. As an eco-friendly home, we did occasionally spot small insects like ants, but it never felt uncomfortable — the bathroom was also spotless and clean. Before coming to Mestia, we had mostly stayed in hotels, so we hadn’t had many chances to interact with local Georgians. Staying at Davit’s home gave us a much more intimate and meaningful experience. His family was incredibly kind and welcoming — it truly felt like being at home. We were so grateful to have been a small part of a household spanning four generations, even just for a little while. It was a heartwarming and joyful time. I know that whenever I find myself overwhelmed by the busyness of daily life, I will think back to Davit’s home and the peaceful days we spent there. A stay at Davit's place is not just accommodation — it’s an experience of Georgia itself, a beautiful bridge between people and culture. Travelers who value local traditions and approach others with warmth and respect will undoubtedly love it here.
