We stayed at the Mouros apartment with our four children in June. It was above and beyond our expectations. The apartment is beautiful and spotless, with very tasteful decor. The terrace is huge with a view that can only be described as heavenly. You have an astounding view of the villages, the sea and the mountains and can enjoy watching the sun set into the sea every evening. Eva, our hostess was so lovely and helpful and always available when we had questions or needed something. She giftes us with cake and constantly made us feel at ease and so welcome and even drove back and forth from the port twice to pick us up upon our arrival. The studios are ideally located in the wonderful little village of Tholaria, with several great restaurants and cafés/bara a few steps away. We used the donkey path to walk an incredibly beautiful walk with views of the valley, Aegiali and the sea, down to the beach, and for a few days we rented a car mostly for the kids sake as we love walking the mountain paths. Several easy hikes start in Tholaria, the path to the twin village of Langada accross the valley was especially enchanting and easily doable even for our six year old. If you choose to stay here, you will not regret it.

I ve been travelling a bit in +80 countries from backpacking to business travels, from basic to fancy high end places. Lakki is among my favorite places I stayed, especially value for money wise. Family run, super friendly staff, great pool, best (pool bar) cocktails on the island, clean rooms, big spacious outdoor area creatively decorated, directly on the beach and short walk to the centre, and most tourists / travellers staying there were very friendly and relaxed, so loved the relaxed vibe there. So to me all ingredients I am looking for in an island stay.

We would highly recommend Skopelitis Village! The wonderful welcome & warm hospitality of our beautiful hosts Antrea & Elena was outstanding. Rooms were modern & clean & some of the most beautifully appointed in our time in Europe.The gardens so pretty are immaculately cared for.With a car,which is a must to see & enjoy Amorgos, the hotel is situated well, high up overlooking western sunset views over the sea & down to stunning Katapola, close to explore jaw dropping Chora town a few kilometres away, & many other places that Antrea kindly shares his much appreciated personal insights on. His foody recommendations made our time extra special too! Elena would quietly check in with us everyday to see how we were enjoying our stay & with any advice she was happy to offer. She was just amazing.A beautiful place & stay made more exceptional by the staff.

The owners were very friendly; suggesting things to see and places to go. They were very helpful with all questions we had. We rented a car from them, which was easy (also the driving was easy). The room was large and clean with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains/hills and village with partial view of the ocean. The location was very quiet. The hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from the center of the village. The hotel is definitely a place I would recommend to other travelers. We also liked the island. Many old villages and a monastery to explore. Nice drive through the island with beautiful hidden beaches.

It is a beautiful building with spacious rooms in Katápola. The hotel is located in a place surrounded by rocky hills, red bougainvillea, white houses, and a quiet bay. Petros was very supportive because it was my first time in Greece. It was a real discovery to me. I really enjoyed my staying there. If you search for a quiet and inspiring place, I recommend St. George Valsamitis 100%

Petros was amazing throughout. He met us at the port and helped us get checked in and comfortable in the property. His property is exceptionally clean and airy. The view from the room is fab and we had the best stay there. The entire neighbourhood is amazing and is one of the friendliest places we have been to. We will surely be back.
