Landlord was very welcoming and available. Both my puppy and myself felt safe there. The property is in a quiet location but close to a popular kafe just 2 mins walk down the road. It is also a few minutes walk away from 2 lovely beaches ; Kalami beach and kyani beach that leads you to the popular Kalyves where there are lots of tavernas. We will definitely return!

Maria's place was my favourite. We searched something close to the sea and away from city centre. Everything was great, Maria is so kind and warm person. If I have to rent a room again, I"d choose Maria anytime.

I loved my holiday in Sofia Kalives! ❤️ I was travelling alone. They made me feel at home and safe all the time! All my questions were answered very friendly. Room service is great, they clean rooms every day. Even my dishes! My room stayed cool, altho I didn't have air conditioner on! View is beautiful! Sea on the other side and mountains the other. It is nice to sit at the terrace and enjoy the view and the local delicacies. Thank You Sofia for giving me the rest that I needed! Hope to come back soon! ❤️

We stayed for 8 nights and this property was ideal. Fantastic location. Kitchen had everything and more than needed, even had coffee machine and toastie maker. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

A stunning hotel in its beauty! Every detail in the new hotel is designed in natural colors, creating an atmosphere of calm and tranquility. The amazing architecture of the hotel connects perfectly with nature, and everything was simply beautiful and perfect! My room had a private pool, and it was simply magical. Natural light flooded the bathroom, making the experience even more special. We received delicious pastries and chocolates in our room, which added an extra touch to our experience. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy. The pools in the hotel are amazing, inviting me to relax and enjoy. The pool bar and the main pool were simply breathtaking in their beauty. The reception staff was amazing and welcoming, contributing to my excellent feeling during the stay. This is the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in, and the views are breathtaking! Additionally, it is very close to Chania Airport, making it especially convenient. If you are looking for a pampering and beautiful place, this is the perfect spot! I highly recommend it!

After a tough year, this is just what we needed. We loved the villa. The views were breathtaking and the host was amazing. We arrived in heavy rain (worst rain in 7 years), the host was so accommodating. He bought a PS2 for the villa, a telescope and there was a cupboard full of games, genga, chess, cards etc. so we were able to do activities inside the villa. We arrived to welcome nibbles set out on the table and a fridge full of bottled water. During our stay he gifted us with a lovely creation cake, bought us oranges from his farm and made us homemade creation pies. The sun did arrive during our stay, so we were able to use the outside space. This space was lovely. 3 pools, loungers, outside beds,beside tables, parasols, dining table and ping pong. The location is quite rural, but this is what we wanted (always the way for the amazing views). There is a small town roughly 5 mins drive from the villa, which has tavern, supermarket and a few shops. We had the most wonderful stay here. Thank you Nikkos

From arrival and the drive towards the villa you knew you would be in for a treat, what a location and view for the villa! Just stunning sunsets , tranquil and serenity in stylish accommodation. Nikos is most friendly and very thorough on the villa rules. Warm welcome with local treats and some home baked goods on different morning. Always on hand to help with anything, just great communication from host. The villa is only 5-10mins drive to a very lovely beach with a great strip of restaurants with the perfect holiday vibe, also close enough to travel to kissamos to visit the famous beaches, just the most perfect base for Crete.
