We were welcomed by Elena the owner and she had maid the best spinach pie and chocolate cake. The place was at a perfect location right by the beach at the Main Street. The apartment pictures at booking.com and reality did not disappoint us. The terrace from apartment nr 7 had a great view and was our favorite place to sit during the evening. Thanks a lot for the hospitality Elena and we may come back one day in the future 🌸

Nikos is most friendly and very thorough on the villa rules. Warm welcome with local treats and some home baked goods on different morning. Always on hand to help with anything, just great communication from host. Excellent stay, kind, warm, welcome. Exceeds our expectations. Very cozy, clean and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful place close to nature, garden with oranges and lemons, mountain view. Very friendly and smart dog and cat on the territory, our 2 kids got really attached to. Location is good, close Kalyves beach, Kaurnas lake with turtles, folklore museum of Gavalochori. Home is really lovely, hosts put a lot of thought and care into making it a comfortable and welcoming space inside and outside of the house. We especially love the way it's decorated. ❤️

The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate throughout. It is full of traditional style and very tastefully furnished. There is much evidence of the generations of family woodworking skills. Cretan hospitality welcomes you. All the rooms are comfortable, spacious, light and airy. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to sit at any time of day or night with superb views of the surrounding mountains. It is just a short 2 minute walk to the central square with tavernas offering excellent food. The host, Andreas, is very friendly and helpful, speaks English and has a wealth of knowledge about the village and Cretan life.

The hosts were extremely welcoming, from recommendations for restaurant and beaches nearby to having a beer and talking about the property at night. Everything is basically brand new and sorted out perfectly. The balcony offers an amazing view of the bay and sunbeds to relax. The room was modern and had everything you needed. The breakfast is also very much recommended, everything you could want with a great view. A real hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone visiting Crete
