The apartment is spotlessly clean, quiet, spacious with a good size balcony (we stayed in Afroditi apartment with a sea-view). The location is perfect, especially if you do not have a car. The noisy road can not be heard, but the way from the main road is not long and not steep. Just around the corner there is a great cafe Dentrakia, a small supermarket is also close by, and the center of Vathy with all the nice restaurants, bakeries, cafés and shops are in a 10-minute walk. A gorgeous beach called Dexa is just 12-minute by foot. Hristo, the owner is super friendly, helpful, guest-oriented and very kind, fast in replying, though speaks little English, but the translation apps can help. There was daily cleaning and a change of bed-linen after two days. The kitchen is properly equipped, you can cook, bake, there is a kettle and a toaster, too. In the fridge 2 big bottles of water, and couple of small butter and jams were waiting for us plus a pack of rusk, coffee capsules, tea-bags and sugar. The bathroom is not big, but also very clean, toiletries were provided, the water pressure was perfect and hot water was always available. The air-condition functioned very well, too. We highly recommend to book Iris Apartment which is in a traditional Ionian Ithacan house for your stay in Ithaca.

Lovely lovely house - we won't hesitate to stay again! It was very comfortable and we spent an equal amount of time enjoying the pool at the back and the view of the harbor at the front terrace. You can walk anywhere in Vathy from the house. My daughter also left a personal item, that though it didn't cost much, was priceless to her. The host was very helpful in looking for it and she made arrangements to mail it to us.

Comfortable rooms, beautiful garden. Excelent service and host. Minutes to a charming village, close to beautiful beaches. The host gave us a tasty local cheese, honey and some good bread. Plus a bottle of wine. And a second bread after a few days.

We loved our stay at Homers View Villa it was perfect in every way. Great location, quiet and relaxing yer in easy reach of a lovely village and a great restaurant you can walk to. The villa was stunning,finished to a high standard. We particularly liked the beautiful sea views from the balcony, the pool and its surrounding area where we spent many hours relaxing before setting off to discover the many secluded quiet beaches for swimming and snorkelling. Great position with fabulous views. Easy walking distance of beautiful coves and beaches, and the lively town of Vathy. Mostly level walking with some hills to more distant beaches. Lovely walking area. Stunning scenery. Quiet and peaceful. Villa Marika is a lovely, comfortable villa with a traditional and homely feel. It is well-equipped and ideal for a holiday with family or friends. It is situated in an ideal position, slightly elevated above sea level with far reaching sea, harbour and Mountain views. Lovely terraces on which to sit and enjoy watching the world go by. We have stayed here several times and intend to return several times!
