Everything about this hotel was great. Staff was very friendly and always helpful, great atmosphere, amazing design and interior, delicious food. Facilities were 10/10. Our room was great, fully equipped, very comfortable with beautiful views.

The suites are really luxurious, not just in the name. Modern, elegant rooms, perfect location. The owner was was one of the kindest and most helpful person we ever met. It has its own beach with really comfortable beach beds.

Everything. Minos and Aga were so welcoming. Gave us a gorgeous maze platter when we arrived. There was a lovely organic Veges garden which we could help ourselves to. Very spacious and clean and tidy villa. Air conditioning worked very well Well equiped kitchen. 2 gorgeous dogs which we could cuddle Nothing was a problem. We all loved the place and the family feel about it

Beautiful boutique hotel, calm, clean, comfortable and spacious room with very friendly and good staff. The restaurant food was delicious and the service was exceptional. For families, they have a great kid club called Grecoland where they can accommodate kids from 4 years old to 12 years old and under 4 years old with a parent or guardian. They do a lot of activities inside and around. You feel comfortable leaving your kids with professional people such as Liza and her team work. Convenient location near to Rethymno. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, we will definitely go back again ! Special thanks to Nikoleta, Alex, Eleni, Maria, Liza and Ioana.

We recently stayed at Mary Hotel in Platanes, and it exceeded all of our expectations! Olga on reception set the tone on our arrival with the most charming of welcomes. This family-run hotel has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything you need – their personal touch truly made our stay unforgettable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and modern, with extremely comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchenette, with everything you could possibly need. We especially appreciated the daily housekeeping service. The spacious balcony overlooked the pool. The pool area is beautiful and always kept clean. The breakfast was exceptional, wonderful selection of eggs and local foods, with owner Jenny’s home made marmalade – a perfect way to start each day. The location is ideal – just a short walk to the beach and close to a variety of restaurants, shops, and bus stops, making it easy to explore the island. We loved being in Platanes, as it offered a charming and peaceful setting while still being close to Rethymnon and other beautiful attractions in Crete. Shout out to Konstantinos, - we left our valuables on top of the safe when we left. He arranged for my passport, English money, credit cards and watch to be delivered to me in Rethymno in time for our flight! Overall, Mary Hotel is an incredible value and a true gem in Crete. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. We can’t wait to return!
