Great view over the bay. Andreas was a great host and very helpful with information about beaches, tavernas and scenic roads and walks. Breakfast is great with different, home made cakes every day. Even the yoghurt is home made and very excellent. The rooms are modern and ours had coffee machine with capsules, water boiler and a little kitchen. We had a perfect stay. Also spacious parking area is provided.

Overlooking Aegiali’s sandy beach, Hotel Vigla is located in the traditional village of Tholaria.

Everything was great ! The hotel has a beautiful view on the Bay but also on Tholaria village The room was clean and very confortable The swimming pool is great The staff is absolutely lovely, they helped us to define our hiking route and gave us great advices. The restaurant was excellent, local and family meals. We had a great time !

We had a chance to stay at Eva’s house for a week and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Eva was very helpful from our arrival until the end. She agreed with an early check in and helped us with our luggage. The house was very comfortable and well decorated, and the terrasse was the highlight of the place. Sunset were breathtaking and although located in the center of the village it was very quiet. The location is also great, as it is not easy sometimes to pick up a village on an island you don’t know, I would definitely recommend Tholaria, it was very lively and beautiful, close from some great beaches and taking a walk to Langada, a nearby village, is definitely something I would recommend to do. On top of everything Eva was a perfect host, and made our stay unforgettable. Thank you again and I hope we can come back anytime soon!

Loved the loaction, right on the beach and really close to the village, facilities were great, pool was to die for, lovely breakfast and amazing dinner- it was so nice watching the sun go down over the beach at dinner! Place was spotless too, and staff are really friendly. I was actually initially staying in an airbnb in katapola and came into Lakki village randomly for a coffee, loved the vibe and the pool and decided to book there for two days. Natalia at reception was amazing, really welcoming and friendly, made me feel right at home. I ended up staying for another two nights after a week in Donousa! I'll definitely be back, can't fault the place.

brand new room, very neat and nice design with a view to the sea. Angela , the manager, was very friendly and gave us good advices about the island! In addition the island is very interesting with nice sceneries and patrimonial value. Very quiet, far from the hellish overpopulated Santorini we had to endure right afterwards!

Petros was amazing throughout. He met us at the port and helped us get checked in and comfortable in the property. His property is exceptionally clean and airy. The view from the room is fab and we had the best stay there. The entire neighbourhood is amazing and is one of the friendliest places we have been to. We will surely be back.

The room was big with balcony and wide sea views, room was made everyday. We loved also the continental breakfast with traditional pies, eggs, greek yoghurt, cheese etc. The pool with superb sunset and sea views and the bar, the cocktails, the empty beach with free and good sunbeds. We went with our snorkels and saw a huge squid and lots of fish close to the shore. The diving company in Aegiali starts the diving tours at this beach, we recommend going diving too. Also boat to Nikouria starts here. The restaurant is open until late in the evening, the salads are delicious and breakfast starts early, a whole day of work, every day. Very quiet rooms, location, which we love. We felt welcomed and are sorry to leave. Happy to have stayed at an authentic greek hotel.
