Set in attractive grounds in a small, typically Guatemalan community just outside (5 minutes by Uber) from the centre of Antigua, with stunning views of hills and volcanoes. Casa Buho is a family run bed and breakfast hotel with exceptional quality rooms. This was a great place to stay as we had already spent a month in town, but would also be good if you want to be away from the noise and bustle of the town.

All of the staff were very friendly and were able to assist with any questions. It is located in a quieter part of town but still easy to walk to the main attractions. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. I stayed in an all female dorm which was very comfortable with individual locker storage under the bed. The room had its own bathroom. Everything is well maintained and kept clean. The wifi was strong when I needed to do some work.
