Very nice stay at this beautiful hotel! Breathtaking views everywhere in the property and its surroundings, very nice place to swim at this part of the lake, friendly staff, and also lovely plants and flowers in the hotel property. We often got some delicious fruit shakes to cool down after swimming and spending time in the sun. Would come back!

The hostel was very clean and the room super spacious. Everyone here was really nice, trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Plus the price is unmatched with breakfast included and an AMAZING view.

The location was amazing, literally right off of the main street with a ton of restaurants and things to do right on your doorstep. The room was bigger and better than I expected, it was clean and very comfortable! There was plenty of amenities and the room came with a fridge, flatscreen TV, air conditioning, amazing shower and plenty of outlets. The room had a great view out over the lake and had a door straight out onto a patio with seating and a hammock, on the roof was a hot tub and more seating. The staff were amazing and very helpful, they do laundry too and its very affordable! Maya was our host and she was incredible but all the staff i spoke to were amazing! Would definitely stay again!! :D

The place it great to chill and relax in San Marcos for a couple days. It has lake access and a nice area to hang out and enjoy the sun. You can refill your water bottle at the reception.

The breakfast every morning was great. The location was just a short walk from the pier and very close to everything. The staff was friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. I would stay here again.

We were told about Lush at the gate in Bogota airport as we headed for Guatemala so this review feels like I’m sharing a secret. If ever there is an example of why family-run hotels are better, Lush is it. Beautiful (I mean stunning) grounds and original decor throughout - see photo for the garden space they found for my wife to do some yoga! The owner (Yesenia) was very generous with her time, and pleasure to be around and helped us enormously.

Surrounded by coffee plantations, Hotel San Buenaventura de Atitlán offers a private beach area, an outdoor pool and tropical gardens.

Amazing location with absolutely killer views. Surrounded by lush trees and flowers. Abundant birds and butterflies. Five minutes walk to the Nature Reserve (in one direction) and to a good restaurant (with the same amazing view) in the other direction. Lovely staff. Architecturally interesting. Delicious breakfast served with a view like no other! Real personality in every way. If you enjoy staying in a nature paradise, this place just might be for you.
