Host was remarkably kind to start, readily accessible and offered to pick me up from the station. Warm heartedness like this was unparalleled in UK or rest of Europe in three weeks of travel. Next most beautiful aspect was the view of spectacular 58 metre tall Fire Tower (City Tower) with a lovely bell chime every hour. My temporary homely sweet abode contained all the comforts necessary for a short stay in Sopron. It was perfectly clean, smartly furnished, and with special touches. Washer complete with washing detergent there for use; iron and ironing board; plenty of coffee, milk, sugar; also chocolate/chocolate biscuit to enjoy; even a packet of cards for play. Best sleep in three weeks of travel.

An amazing place to stay! So clean and comfortable. The owners were amazing, they picked us off and dropped us at the train station for free. Twice they were heading into town and gave us a lift, and they called to make a reservation at a winery for us. Also we got a coffee in the garden in the morning. They really went out of their way to make our stay great. Would definitely stay again.

Nicely designed rooms on the third floor of a beautifully renovated building. Walking distance from the train station and also from the old Town. Professional and helpful staff at reception. An excellent bistro type restaurant with a lovely garden called Deak Etterem is only 2 minutes from the building.

    Modern hotel in nice , surrounded by forest. Food was very delicious, and it was regularly topped up so you still had plenty of choice even at the end of serving hours. Comfortable beds. Nice and clean spa area, also great for toddlers. I really liked that it was kids friendly and had many activities to entertain them.

    The apartment is very recently renovated and clean, colors are nice, it is spacious. I have not met the owner in person but our communication was great, she was very responsive and helpful. I want to separately point out how comfortable it was to stay with a small baby, since we got a crib, a feeding char and even some toys.

    The location was great - easy to get to the historic town center. The rooms were very comfortable the double one and also the family one. The staff was really nice - at breakfast they offered pancakes to the kids in-spite it was not part of the morning food offerings.
