Family hotels and homes in Bajawa

- lovely and welcoming hosts, made us feel at home and got us tea and coffee and fried banana when we arrived - very clean spacious rooms, very comfy bed - nice rooftop area with good views of the city - great breakfast and nice to have a choice of 3 options - good bathroom and shower

The owner, Moses, completely took care of us from a to z. He organised delicious meals for us every day and went out of his way to organise the activities we wanted to do. He took us to the local market, to his other hotel in on badjawa, to the hot springs, a local waterfall and more! Rarely have we been so welcomed anywhere. He is completely fluent in English and was patient with our questions about the local area and people. Thank you Moses! The hotel is off the beaten tourist path and you are staying in a real local Floresian village. The locals are so friendly! The location on the beachfront is amazing too and you can snorkel straight off the beach. We made a last minute decision to stay here instead of in Badjawa and we didn't regret it for a second. Much nicer to be in the countryside in the calm where you can do everything that you can do from the town anyway. We didn't want to leave!
