The place itself is cozy and beautifully set up, but what truly made it special was the incredibly friendly staff — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
It genuinely felt like home away from home, something I never expected from an accommodation. For any solo traveler (or anyone really), this place offers more than just a stay — it offers comfort, connection, and a peaceful vibe that stays with you. Highly recommended!

Czech RepublicWell, this is my first 10 rating on booking.com. We spend 4 weeks on Bali / Lombok / Flores and this was the best acommodation at all.
Bidara Cottage and the area of East Lombok exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The property is nice, cozy a well maintained. The staf create extremly friendly atmosphere. You feel welcome and they help you with everything. The place is nice and quite. You can relax, you can discover beatifull gilis or just enjoy local life.

All the staff is really welcoming, helpful and friendly. They organized a trip for us to the nearby gilis and also transport to the next harbor. The cook is always smiling and prepares really tasty local dishes. Rooms are simple but clean, comfortable and with AC. The room was large and clean and there was what seemed to be a new pool there which was excellent. The real gem though were the family that ran the place. They were so helpful during our stay and even helped us out with queries we had after we had left via WhatsApp. It is really admirable also that they are saving and rehoming what looked like loggerhead turtle...
