Ayom suites is the best resort we have ever stayed in! The staff has been extremely kind and payed attention to every detail, helped us with every request or need for advice we had. The room was exceptionally clean and lovingly designed, the pool and the external space are perfect and designed to relax and escape from the caos of the city. The food was delicious and characterized by high level recipe and preparation, a mix between the traditional cousine and some occidental influences (the bread and biscuits they made are amazing as the everyday supply of different juices!) Thank you for have made our staying in Mataram so special and thanks in particular to Mita and May, always super kind and willing to help us with everything we need!

It is a beautifully designed hotel where you can see they have thought of every detail making it a top of the list hotel for Mataram. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the hotel , its rooms and facilities are designed to make you feel 5 stars. The food is good , we only had breakfast which was included with our room but is mainly catered for the Indonesian market. We did enjoy it anyways , specially the herbal teas , the healthy drinks and fruits. Fro is the location was perfect as we needed to run some errands right around the corner. Next day we took a taxi to the airport which was 45 minutes away approximately.

The location high above Sengiggi is spectacular. We watched the sunset over the ocean and the moon rise above the mountains soon after. The beds and linen are luxurious and the huge windows allow you to lie in and look out over the views. Best of all are the thoughtful, helpful and sociable hosts - Maria and Rohan. They were easy to connect with and made our stay a memorable one.

The kindness of the host is what stands out. I advise you to go on the waterfall hike with him. He has his own path through the jungle to the beautiful Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls. Definitely better than trying to find them on your own and for a very reasonable price. The food offered by the host is made by his wife and is absolutely delicious if you like the local cuisine. The portions are very royal. This accomodation has its own waterfall in the backyard... What more do you need? P.s. the host drove all the way to Kuta in the south of Lombok to bring me my earplugs that I forgot, even though I only stayed for 1 night. Just goes to show the lengths he goes to for his guests.
