Absolutely everything about this stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and outstanding service made us feel truly valued. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food from the restaurant was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable, and every detail was thoughtfully designed to enhance our stay. This place exceeded all expectations and created a truly memorable experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Semaya Beach Resort. The staff were not only incredibly attentive, always kind and available, but also willing to share their culture with me. Several staff members took the time to talk about Bali and especially Nusa Penida, which was very enriching. Sometimes we also had more casual, informal conversations, particularly at the bar or when they came to pick me up with the buggy to my room. It was always done in a very balanced way, never intrusive, always pleasant. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located facing the sea, with facilities that combine comfort and authenticity. The atmosphere is peaceful, ideal for relaxing, and the small daily attentions really make a difference. It is worth noting that the resort is a little bit away from the main ports, so you should be aware of that. However, I personally had no problem with transportation, and I actually enjoyed coming back every evening to this hotel. It made it possible to rest, appreciate the calm, and experience a more natural and wild side of Bali. One of the highlights for me was the stunning view from the room and bathroom, especially at sunrise. Since the sun rises very early, it is truly magical to watch it gradually illuminate the horizon, and it makes sense to start activities early in the morning. In the evening, it was equally wonderful to sit on the terrace, enjoying a meal or reading, accompanied by the sound of the waves. These moments felt timeless and incredibly soothing. As a vegetarian, I also really appreciated both the breakfast and the dinner. Breakfast came with a wide variety of fresh fruit, smoothies, and many items prepared on the spot. Dinner also offered several vegetarian options, all of them very tasty. I was able to enjoy different meals almost every day without getting bored, and the value for money was excellent. It is not always easy to find such quality and variety when traveling abroad as a vegetarian, so this was a big plus for me.

We had a lovely time at Maskot. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The rooms are quite fresh and really well kept. Be aware the are not fully “sealed” so if you are afraid of the chance of getting small bugs in this is not your place. However, we just got the usual mosquito here and there but the is also a mosquito net around the bed. The bathroom is semi-outside. It’s great for ventilation and it’s also really fresh believe or not! There is a transparent roof so it is okay if it rains as well. The location is quite good too if you want to rent a scooter and explore the island because it is sort of in the middle. We could also rent a scoopy for 100k a day. There is a restaurant next door if you don’t feel like going for a drive to get food, but we didn’t try it so we can’t say if it’s good or bad. There is also a little shop just in front of Maskot where you can buy water, sunscreen, some snacks… The hosts were super nice and paid attention you our needs. They have a really convenient laundry service as well, done in the same day because they use the sun to dry the clothes. They cooked a simple breakfast for us every morning and also gave us some advice on where to go. Finally, they helped us book the ferry ticket and taxi to leave the island. Really nice stay in Maskot:)

I really enjoyed the vibe, the friendliness of the staff and the room. It was well worth the price and if I had longer I would have stayed much longer.

A very welcoming, familiar, super comfortable and clean place to stay. We were received and surprised by the kindness of this family who does everything to serve well. From the scooter rental, tips on the sights of the island, to our boarding in Porto. Perfect! In addition, we found Catappa, a local restaurant facing the sea, just 3 minutes walk from the hotel with good food and great value for money (in addition to accepting card and also money exchange) which made our stay much more convenient.

Nice location (rent a scooter at hotel), very clean, nice people. Super cute bungalow with lovely outdoor bathroom, which is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Pendia Hills is an amazing accomodation for anyone spending a few days on Nusa Penida. The pictures here on booking are very accurate and our room and bed was very comfortable. The location is very close to everything, but a scooter is 100% recommended. Try to arrange a taxi service when arriving since it is up on the hill, so walking with luggages is very hard. The breakfast with the view was superb. The whole staff was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. They helped us with booking a snorkeling trip, speed boat to Gili and also could provide scooter. The prices were very fair, it would be pretty hard to negotiate the same deals for yourself.

It was amazing. Everything was perfect and beautifully organised. The place is heavenly beautiful and stuff is so friendly, tries to help with everything 🫶
