We had a wonderful warm welcome from the host, who also helped us get back on track, as we'd lost our directions. Beautiful bothy, exactly what we wanted. Peaceful, with lots of nice walks, and places to visit locally.

Very good first impression, perfect stay for our family of four. Beautiful interior and very nice staff. Dinner was amazing! Breakfast was very good too. Rooms were very clean and fresh. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Anne was a lovely host, and greeted us at the property. House itself was ideal for a large group with 5 decent sized rooms/ 3 bathrooms including 1 en-suite. Kitchen was fully equipped and we used it to cook for a group of 8 with no problem. Anne also left milk in the fridge and biscuits which were a lovely touch. There was also plenty of parking for cars, and a big garden if lucky with weather. Carlingford village was less than 5 min drive from house and Anne has taxi numbers for local taxi drivers which worked out great for us. I couldn’t recommend this house enough for a stay in Carlingford.
