We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. Perfect stay for a 60th celebration in the hotel. The room was immaculate, cosy and had tea, coffee etc. Oliver was kind, helpful and sent on all required information prior to our stay. Flawless and highly recommended.

This accommodation is somewhat remote, in the middle of nature. The rooms were huge and very stylishly furnished. The view from the window was directly onto a green landscape. The area is very well suited for excursions into nature. The house is very large and beautiful. The landlords are super friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and lovingly served by Bernadette. The selection is very good. Wi-Fi worked very well and it was very quiet at night. It was an absolutely relaxing stay there. A perfect end to my vacation in Ireland. I will miss the country and its people.
