Have stayed there a good few times over the years with motorcycle friends, premises has new owners now ,"Delores and her family " always a home from home to stay in slieve league lodge. From what we seen from our latest stay New owners have the same plan for the place, good food, good bar, good rooms, good value, ideal base for touring Donegal. 10 out 10 from us old Mayo bikers.

We were very satisfied – the accommodation exceeded our expectations and we felt truly great here. The owner was extremely kind and friendly, and they also had excellent tips for interesting places in the area – many of which you won’t even find on Google Maps :). He also recommended a bio shop just across the street, where we discovered algae-based cosmetics, sea salt, and other specialties. Overall, this place has a unique atmosphere and an incredibly positive energy – we would definitely love to come back.

The location was quiet and very comfortable and central to all of the activities we required and the breakfast has a wide range of choice and it was very nice to see a healthy option and plentiful 🙂

Amazing location and the cottage was beautiful and peaceful. Spent most of our time in the cottage reading and listening to the river or sitting in the hot tub watching the waterfalls, while the dogs lay in the garden. Fintra beach was a short drive away, or walk if you want. Grace was very responsive to messages and provided all information we needed for an enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway in nature ☺️

The house is quaint and comfortable. We had booked a cheaper room, as I thought that was all that was available, but the owner upgraded us to a bigger room in the main house free of charge. Thank you 🙏🏼 The staff were all very friendly. We also had dinner there, the food was delicious.

Welcoming pub, happy staff, great pints of Coors and Guinness. Clean and cosy accommodation we stayed 2 nights. Allowed our dog into the bar.. Brilliant welcome for people with dogs. Clean bar, clean bathrooms. Pool table and dart board and tvs showing all major sports. We were there for the All Ireland final weekend. 3 min walk to the beach and to a beach side coffee dock. 20min drive to a petrol station. 10min walk to local Mace. ATM machine outside premises. Bar accepts cash and card payments. Friendly husky dog outside the pub. Room was triple room with bathroom in hallway separate. Shower pressure brilliant and nice and hot water. Room clean, nice view from bedroom window of the beach.

Amazing house in a really good location for exploring the area. The Rusty Mackreal pub was only a few mins walk away. There is a lovely cafe right across the road that does fabulous homemade products. The house was decorated really nice and you could tell the owner put a lot of time in the attention to detail. The bed was really comfy, the house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Pick this house and you won't be disappointed. It was pet friendly so that was an added bonus.
