We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host. It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.

The Avalon is my first choice of hotel when visiting my family in Kilkenny. The rooms are really comfortable and tastefully decorated, the inclusion of a coffee machine is very welcome. The hotel has a very homely atmosphere and the staff are wonderful, so kind and friendly. I would really recommend breakfast, a good selection of local produce really well cooked and served. I loved everything about my stay. Andrew from the bar was great and loved joking around with us. Glen at the restaurant had us all laughing. The receptionist at check in was really accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed a day of golf, loved the scenery, the last day we were there some of the staff were setting up for a wedding and let us in to take a look.
