Very big and extremely cozy room in a nice, classic style! Everything was perfectly clean. The room creates a very warm atmosphere. Super friendly employees at the reception desk and the restaurant. Very high quality breakfast with a spectacular view into nature and old ruins! We really enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere at the Abbey Hotel - we are looking forward to future visits!

Very friendly hotel. Room was excellent. Had dinner, breakfast and lunch in the hotel. All meals were home cooked, tasty and served piping hot. Staff friendly and helpful.

Location was perfect for our stay. Staff in all areas of the hotel were exceptional. Fresh cooked breakfast from your choice on the menu. Fabulous power shower in the room. Couldn't fault a thing.

The quiet of the place, right next to the lake. The room and house were impeccable, but the best aspect of our stay was without a doubt our hosts, a very nice family that welcomed us with exceptional attention from the start and with whom we shared a great breakfast and an interesting conversation. Really pleased with all experience and communication. David is a great host. We regularly go to the centre parcs Longford and staying near by in different location prior to the check in. This time we stayed in beautiful Marina house. Really handy location to explore surrounding area and museums. Definitely recommend it and 5* to the David as a host

Because it was my 1st wedding anniversary, and I asked for a room looking over the Shannon, Nicole upgraded our room to the Bridal Suite, it was extremely nice of her and the Hotel. It just thingsike that, that makes a big difference, it was exceptional!! Thank you!
