Our stay at Surpura Bagh was truly unforgettable. The property is stunning, surrounded by peaceful gardens and full of charm – a real oasis in Rajasthan. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and give a sense of heritage and authenticity. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile and making us feel at home from the very first moment. A special mention goes to Chef Manan Singh, who was incredibly welcoming and willing to prepare any dish we wished for – his kindness and talent made every meal a delight. He even created an exemplary dinner adapted to our Italian taste, showing great flexibility and skill. Most importantly, when one of us had stomach issues, the chef and the staff took wonderful care of us, preparing light and suitable dishes with genuine attention. The food overall was delicious, freshly prepared, and served in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is not just a hotel, but an experience of Rajasthan’s hospitality and culture. We left with wonderful memories and the wish to come back soon. Highly recommended!

Really fantastic stay. Hosts are so welcoming and deae family. They waited for us wirh warm Indian welcoming. Brothers AJ and VJ were very helpful with everything. They helped us with clothes washing and booking a train for our next destination. Warm blankets were delivered to us upon our request. Breatfast on the rooftop with a view on the fort is also extraordinary :) Best place to stay when you are in Jodpur. It was really far above our expectacions :)

As a female solo traveler (30 years old from France) I had an Amazing experience and felt very secure. The view from the rooftops and the room I had was amazing (direct view on the fort, and 380´ view on city). The staff is extremely nice, Guru, the owner of the hotel speaks perfect English and litteraly did everything for me (from ordering me tuc tuc when needed, to calling places I couldn’t call to register me, and gave me hundreds of great places to visit). I really felt like I was in good hands. If you wan the real experience, this place is great. Decoration is delicate and room was clean, staff was amazing !

We were very warmly welcomed by the host,Wonderful place and best location. Rooms have authentic heritage style things which gives you a mark is the sunlight and clean. Food on the roof top served with a great view of the fort and blue town. Don't be worried if you have to walk a little to reach the house it's very well worth it. It was peaceful and great value of our money. Totally recommended love to come back.😊😊

So, the reviews are good, because the place is really good. Excellent staff (genuine kindness), very spacious place with fresh, clean air because its absolutely spotless. We were initially doubtful about being away from the centre, but we discovered that being in the centre wasn't going to add much to our trip, on the contrary, being in this gated community gave us time to to relax and be away from the crowded areas that we would visit during the day. If you're reading this -unrelated-: do visit Bal Samand Lake Palace for lunch. What huge, green, lovely property that is. Another plus of this property: dinner was great. Breakfast was good (the porridge stood out) with fresh fruit, and everything works: hot water, wifi reception very good, even at the pool.
