The Malligi hotel was a completely luxury experience and is easily the nicest property we have stayed at in India. The design of the hotel is beautiful with scenic gardens and design. We ate at two of the restaurants on site and both were excellent with lovely food at very reasonable prices. The room was huge with comfy beds and a large tv with hundreds of channels. The shower constantly had hot water and the bathroom came with a large selection of toiletries included. Easy access to Hampi from her as well. Breakfast buffet every day with lots of selection. Nice swimming pool available as well. Very helpful and friendly staff always on hand to assist. For the price we paid this is up there with hotels anywhwere in the world.

We are a couple from Germany and had a beautiful stay in New Hampi at Ayushas and her mother Shishis Homestay. We were lucky having found such a quiet & good located place to discover Hampi & surroundings as we were not sure before where its best to stay. Ayusha helped us with good drivers (taxi driver tp pick us from Bangslore airport & to Hospet train station) & Riksha drivers for Hampi temples and other side of the river). There are also buses and rikshas running to Hampi Bazaar from the main road. (8-10 min walk from the homestay) which is a good alternative to visit things in Hampi centre. Ayusha who speaks very good english gave us many extra informations about the culture, people & politics. Shishi explained us a lot about local food and plants. There are 2 rooms on the roof top which share a terasse. The family lives downstairs but you have total privacy in your space and you also dont hear the neighbours. Our room had a very good matress and was superclean. And bath room was newly renovated and hot water was always available. It was really much better then we expected. We had homemade indian breakfast in the mornings (or sometimes also a dinner) on the terasse (dont forget to tell them the day before - they are also flexible with timings if you visit temples & monumentas in morning time)! Food is very delicious. If you want something you can always ask for it. Thank you for the nice time we had and for so many nice talks ❤️

Mango Tree is a small hotel where you'll feel at home. The room was super clean and breakfasts were very delicious. Most importantly the owners are the most welcoming, generaous and lovely people you'd ever meet. Lakshmi who runs the place, made sure we are comfortable and helped us discovering the area with useful tips. We'll be coming back again for our next Hampi visit without any hesitation. The entire complex is beautiful. It is located a few kilometers away from Hampi, but you have taxis or tuk-tuks available at very reasonable prices. The staff at the resort is extremely friendly and helpful at every step. The rooms are very clean, as is the pool and the entire complex. The resort has everything you need, from diverse food options to various massages and excursions in the surrounding area. I would particularly like to commend Manju Ato, the tuk-tuk driver who took my spouse and me to all the nearby attractions. With him, we spent 4 unforgettable days and gained an incredible insight into local life, including food, history, lakes, rivers, the city, markets, and shops. He speaks excellent English and knows every corner of Hampi and its surroundings. In addition to him, we would also like to praise the guide Ray, who organizes safaris that you must go on. In a jeep, you traverse the national park with Ray, who is full of information about birds, bears, reptiles, etc. We had a wonderful day, so I highly recommend a safari with such an experienced guide. In short, my spouse and I spent 4 unforgettable days at the resort. For us, it was a wonderful experience, and we hope to return.

This simple property is exactly as described. It is clean and extremely well positioned next to the major sites of Hampi. It provides a real insight into staying in an Indian village, which I really enjoyed. As a lone female traveller, I felt very safe there. The manager Kish could not do enough to make my stay great from organising the pick up from Hubli airport to arranging sight seeing tours and a guide. I highly recommend this place.
