Everything was perfect at Fosshotel Nupar. A cozy and comfortable room, a beautiful and peaceful view from the room, the hotel restaurant and seeing the northern lights at night. I had some hesitations because I read some bad reviews before arriving, but this hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. I would definetly come again if I visit Southern Iceland in the future.

    Lovely apartment for a family of three to travel between the Golden Circle and the glacier national park. The kitchen is very well equipped and the place is nicely decorated. It is very quiet and peaceful there. Also, we are really surprised with the underfloor heating which keeps us very warm the whole time.

    Excellent facilities (kitchen, showers, rooms and dining area). Bring groceries in advance! Serves no breakfast (you do get free waffles) but is an excellent holiday house. The location is sooo beautiful (in the middle of a lava field). Good starting point to visit Skaftafell and Jokulsarlon. Popular with families.
