Even after reading all the previous, raving reviews, we were still very positively surprised - the apartment really has more than everything we could possibly need. Another “magical” plus, even with self-check in & out (by definition cold and person-less), Lucy somehow made it have a human touch. The hotel is very nicely located. The rooms face either the hill or the ocean. There is free parking available. The room was spacious, clean and warm. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is sauna available. Supermarket and restaurants are a few min drive away from the hotel. Good value for the money!

Clean, Comfortable with delicious breakfast. Hot tub under the stars and Sauna open until 11pm. I strongly recommend this place!

The guesthouse was spectacular. We stayed in the main house, and it was like staying at your grandmother's house - very clean and super-cosy. We felt at home immediately. The Christmas decorations and lights were so beautiful. I have never felt so rested after a stay. We ate locally, and there were some nice places to choose from. If you don't want to eat out, there is a fully equipped kitchen that you can use. The cafe and shop downstairs was just as cosy and welcoming. Blomsetrið has some more choices of accommodation beside the cafe, and they were really beautiful. I will definitely be back!

Located next to Lake Blundsvatn, this guest house is 15 minutes’ drive off Iceland’s Ring Road.

The whole place is not just a farm with cabins, it's a complex with a wonderful view to a waterfall, a walking path with trolls histories, a restaurant and hot tubs for guests. The cabins are very cute, ours in particular was super cozy and warm. We had all that we needed. The check in was super easy and the woman at the front desk was super kind to us.
