IcelandWe booked last minute room for three with shared bathroom being on the way already. (There is two of them for not a l lot of rooms- don’t worry) We’ve got instructions how to get in and went back to the house (it was written in an email that reception is 3km up the road-we just missed it 🙈). House is cozy, warm with spacious kitchen&living room. It was clean & warm inside. You have an access to all basics as hairdryer/soap/toilet paper/towel/kitchen equipment etc. You basically don’t need to have anything with you. House is located close to the waterfall and mountains. I can only highly recommend this place for an inexpensive stay! It was super cute! Takk fyrir!

MaltaLargest bathroom out of 7 accommodations we booked in Iceland! We were so impressed by the home decor and how Cosy it was. A nice touch of icelandic tradition everywhere you look. Breakfast was basic but just enough. Staff was very accommodating. Location was perfect for us to drive to jokulsarlon during the night to go watch the aurora. I really recommend this place. Parking just outside (for free) even the towels were embroider with their emblem (I’m a sucker for the little details) the common area is so beautiful too!

It wasn't posh like the other hotels we stayed in Iceland during our road trip in the same category&price range, but was glad to have even found a room for family of 4 in this area. I seemed to have booked for 3 instead of 4 persons by mistake. But the room had 4 beds and when I informed the hotel the error, they made the 4th bed for us even at almost closing hours.
