We bumped along a few narrow lanes in our hire car, and turned off into this place where we instantly felt welcome. The staff (who we learned later are all family) were so relaxed and kind, showing us the rooms, letting us know when we could have dinner, and leaving us to relax. We walked round the farm. Ate wonderfully that night. And had a lovely breakfast. We spent a lovely few days here and thoroughly recommend both Tenuta Morrone and the local area.

We spent 2 nights at Maliandi just before Easter and although it was early season the welcome and care from the hosts could not have been warmer and more professional. The room was large, clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was beautiful, especially the pasta primi course. It is a lovely, quiet place to stay and we will definitely return.

This was a perfect wee place right next to the Tibetan bridges. Super quiet, comfortable bed, clean and had a serene view over the valley and cute wee town. Giovanni the host was fantastic and a great breakfast was delivered up to our terrace in a little pulley box and a bell rang - that was super cute!! He recommended a great pizza place in town which was really cheap and delicious (as it is a small village and there isn't masses of options on the shoulder season). We loved Sasso di Castalda, thank you!

Beautiful location in a cute small town. The guest house is small but cosy. And there’s everything you need, kitchen, sofa, wash machine and a nice bed. The bed is high in the attic, that’s fine but it could be a bit warm upstairs. Laura and Rocco are very nice hosts, they have good recommendations of restaurants in the area. We will definitely come back :)
