Perfection is the word to describe the house, the surrounding immaculate gardens, the warmth of the hosts. Mornings were greeted by a generous breakfast made up of local specialties - from savoury to sweets - left by the host before we even woke up. This was complemented by fresh eggs laid by chickens in the property and good Italian coffee from an automated machine. The position within 4mins from Castelvetrano was strategic to allow access to plenty of supplies and importantly, to the daily exploration of the several interesting cities, visiting points and the beaches in relatively close reach - from Marsala to Agrigento. Returning 'home' at the end of the day to the charming and quietness of a most private property was a special treat.
