The setting is magical. The room was large and clean and airy. Large well equipped bathroom. Even the towels smell nice. Amazing views. We arrived late (dont trust Google maps: stay on the SS roads) but were welcomed by a delicious, locally sourced meal and lovely people.

Villa Cassina dell'Etna is a small, family run hotel, at the foot of Etna. All family members are very kind and the guests immediately feel welcome. The garden with the pool just calls you to enjoy the peace of Sicilian countryside. The breakfast and diner were delicious, from home made ingredients. The breakfast was delicious! Prepared right there in the kitchen, everything was fresh and there were so many options to choose from. We chose to have dinner two of the nights we were there and it far exceeded our expectations, so incredibly good!
