Our hostess Rosanna was expecting us there and immediately brought us in and showed us where to park our car - inside the house's yard, as it were. She also gave us a complete set of instructions. Her son Vincenzo speaks excellent English and went out of his way to help in any possible way. The place itself is a great seaside vacation spot located some 50 metres from the beach. The beach is nicely sandy, with very fine sand and easy access to the sea (no rubble, no stones to trip you and hurt your feet, as is often the case). The house is totally great - newly built/renovated, with great finishings and overall quite beautiful, better than what is seen in the photos. Half of the house belongs to Rosanna's sister Antonella, who was there the whole time to give us guidance and help. She was a great companion and we became good friends in the end - ciao, Antonella :) We really did have a great time.

Initially we were given a room in the old building, which while large and the ability to sleep 6, did not have windows and only a door opening onto an enclosed hot terrace......also the airconditioning wasn't effective. Maybe because we were only staying one night? To give them their due, the management found us a replacement room without any fuss in the new building...... a self-contained apartment at no extra cost. This was more than we expected. We had a very pleasant meal that evening in the restaurant and next morning an excellent breakfast.

My family had a wonderful time here in June, for almost 3 weeks. The hotel is perfectly located on a hill next to the national park, overlooking the sea. The complaints in other reviews, that it's far away from the beach and city, are not justified in my opinion because it all matches the descriptions of the hotel online. There is a free shuttle bus which takes you hourly to a nice beach club (5 minute drive, sunbeds are included), and one can even walk just down the hill to reach a small public beach. The place itself has been refurbished over the past years, and some parts are still updated one after another. But there is no major construction going on anymore, so it's overall very quiet and peaceful. Most outstanding is definitely the quality of all the finishings, the marble floors, and the beautiful pool area. The rooms are of different categories, and we had a standard double room. For a family with kids, this category may be a bit small, and we'd choose a bigger one next time. The rooms have all been renovated, only the bath rooms are slightly dated, which didn't bother us, though, as they were still nice and matched the descriptions and photos. As for the food, this was certainly another highlight. Very capable chef, and we ate there quiet often instead of going out. Fantastic pasta, seafood, or just small snacks - we were always satisfied, and our wishes were met. What made this place so special for us was the staff. Everyone from the hotel owner to the cleaning ladies made us feel like family and were super friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel's general manager made everything possible, no matter what we needed, and the drinks at the bar always came with a smile and nice chat. . Should we decide to come back to Puglia, it would be definitely the Rodi Resort again. This is certainly the nicest place in the area.

    Pina was a great host, the unit was freshly renovated with all the appliances brand new. The playground for the kids was "Bellissimo", very safe and hyped for the little ones. We did not use the pool, but it was very clean and warm. You have a big gazebo to stay in while the kids play or use the facilities. The was an afternoon party for all current tenants, family-friendly with some pizzas, sandwiches, and some fine "prosecco", very enjoyable and friendly people.

    We had a very warm welcome by the whole family, we really felt at home. The location is wonderful, with nature all around, nice place to relax and visit the nearby Gargano. The bungalow is simple, but functional. The restaurant is amazing, Daniele's cuisine is so good, with vegetables from the garden and fish from the lake! We ate there twice, it was a real pleasure! Thank you for creating such a nice place :)
