The castle itselt is absolutely stunning, the rooms are delicately put together and are the oerfect mix of rustic and functional. The wifi worked great everywhere, the restaurant onsite was splendid. Every single member of staff was incredibly thoughtful and forthcoming. Breakfast buffet was varied.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. As we pulled up to the property my partner and I GASPED. It is absolutely beautiful and so historic. I felt like we were in a fairy tale. The staff were very attentive to us and provided a cot for baby free of charge(we ended up using a travel cot as our baby preferred it). There is a really nice restaurant on site and a bar. Also a self serve bar available at reception. The pool wasn’t open during our stay but the gardens and surrounding hikes available kept us busy. Nearby town of Radda in Chianti is v picturesque. The breakfast here really impressed me! Not your standard hotel breakfast, lots of homemade cakes, pastries, fresh fruit, there was a spinach tart thing which blew my mind! The decor in the room was all antique and really beautifully done. I felt like I’d gone back in time. Wandering down the corridor I discovered a library which was a beautiful place to sit with a book

This property was situated in a great location near to Greve and Radda, Siena etc. It was super easy to get around during the day and night as we hired a car and we came here twice throughout our 3 week honeymoon in Italy. The staff were great, especially Nazli at reception is super helpful and solution focused when we had questions or needed something.

After reading some questionable reviews, we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this accomodation was. Our room itself was large, clean, air conditioned and what appeared like a newly renovated bathroom. The room was cleaned daily. While some fixtures are clearly older than others, it was part of the charm. They had great options for experiences hosted on site which allowed us to experience all we had hoped for by staying in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. We personally loved the BBQ hosted on the Friday night which was a surprising touch. The food was amazing, accompanied by a beautiful bottle of their wine and live music. The wine tasting and cooking class were also great. Pool area was clean and great spot for relaxing. We are from Australia and would go out of our way to come back to this beautiful accomodation.

A cosy, idyllic little country hotel located in a forest between Radda and Gaiole in Chianti. Very quiet and private, an ideal location for those seeking peace and relax. The staff were all fantastic, extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned and the sheets were changed daily. Very good breakfasts with delicious freshly baked cakes, and the dinners in the restaurant were outstanding. We stayed there for 12 days and found it a perfect base for touring the Chianti Region, with Siena, Florence or San Gimignano under an hour's drive.

Just renovated and opened in June 2023! I loved the Facilities, very attentive staff, especially Elena thanks to Her kindness on the phone we decided to stay there. Also Fabio-manager was very hospitable and all the staff at the reception, spa treatments and restaurant regrettably I do not remember all the names. Breakfast and “merenda” small aperitifs each afternoon is of the best quality. Well kept.

    Our family had the most perfect 9 night stay at this stunning property. The very friendly hosts have thought of every detail to make their guests as comfortable as possible. Cleanliness, equipment and decor are all excellent. A particular highlight for us was the lovely, peaceful pool area. 100% recommend without hesitation!

    This exceeded our expectations. The location, food, room, staff, wines were all amazing. We added the cooking class which was a lot of fun and then enjoyed the results for lunch. You definitely need a car to reach the property but once there, no need to go anywhere. So relaxing but also gorgeous countryside for walking.

    We loved our stay there. We had an amazing wine tasting session. We had chance to spend time outside although it was cold a little. Rooms are really old but we enjoyed staying there as it was only one night. Food was amazing. Breakfast had many options. Kids..played in fhe garden and loved the fact that they could go up to the tower or see a dungeon.
