This BnB is really charming. It is situated in a small village with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The room was spacious, airy and bright. So comfortable and spotlessly clean. Antonio the host can not do enough for you. He explained the history of Matera, what to visit and advised on where to eat. He really is a super host. Grazie mille Antonio. Also I want to mention his son Ilya(I hope I got the name right) who met us on the first night...we arrived quite late after midnight. He was also very friendly and helpful. Very nice family run business. I highly recommend it if you are visiting Matera.

Everything you ask her will not remain unsolved. The house is a combination of new and old, like the whole region, but every thing you will see has a special meaning, just look for it. You will find in house everything you need, just ask the host. I suggest renting the whole house.The parking is on the street in front of the house but it is in a safe area with ok neighbors.
