Things seem new. Everything i needed was there (even plaster). I particularly like the little office chair. WiFi works and hot water is hot enough. AC is included. I like the design of the toilet. And the apartment is quite spacious. The ceiling is high and looks good. A fruit store and a supermarket are nearby. It's not a long walk to the valley. The owner is really nice and provided me with some dinner recommendations. It is totally worth the price.

Staying at Masseria Marico was truly an exceptional experience. It is well located for either going to beaches or visiting sights and towns around. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast made with heart from local products. Whats unique, though, is the approach of the hosts. Its a family masseria and in case you are intested, the owners will explain about its history, farming and they even took us with them to show how they harvest olives. Would highly recommend.

The location was tricky to get to, but that is not the hotel's fault. They are accessible only by foot due to the way the ancient town was built. I received excellent recommendations from the hotel about parking for our rental car. There is a secure parking building about 15 minutes walk away that cost 20 euro per day, although this is not the only option. The reception staff were excellent and organised for our luggage to be taken to our room - much appreciated considering the cobbled paths around the hotel. The room was large, quiet and well appointed. The included continental breakfast was adequate and the spa facilities were a nice addition.
